I was quite inspired by photos of old abandoned mine shafts, and wanted to capture this feeling of being underground in these tunnels.
Tried out some new workflows in Blender based on modifiers and worldspace texturing, using Blender's EEVEE engine for rendering and the built in compositing for the final touches.
The scene isn't made with all gameready assets. The cave walls are a distorted cylinder on a spline, with a displacement texture and subdivision. The idea of the project is much more a lighting, mood and composition study.
Hope you like it!
